The Gryphon GD4100 readers offer a choice of two sets of multi-interface options: USB, Keyboard Wedge, RS-232 and Wand Emulation, or for use in point-of-sale (POS) environments, IBM 46XX, USB and RS-232. Both interface sets offer configuration flexibility and are easily adapted for migration or future changes to the host system. Remote Host Download lowers the service costs and improves operations allowing for hassle-free field upgrades while the desktop Datalogic Aladdin™ configuration program provides user-friendly features that simplify the start-up procedure, especially for inexperienced users

The PowerScan 8000 product series is Datalogic ADC’s premium line of rugged industrial handheld data collection products. The PowerScan PM8500 cordless area imager offers omnidirectional reading of 1D and 2D codes combined with unlimited mobility guaranteed by the Datalogic STAR Cordless System™.

The PowerScan PM8500 reader’s feature a high-resolution Mega-Pixel imaging sensor that is capable of outstanding performance in industrial applications. It is offered in three optic models: Standard Range and High Density models are for typical bar code reading conditions (for medium and high-resolution codes respectively); the Wide Angle model offers a wider field of view allowing the capture of larger and longer codes.

The Datalogic STAR Cordless System for narrow band radio communications provides the key to increased productivity and flexibility in the workplace. It offers scalable solutions from simple point-to-point applications to networking capabilities. An optional display with a 3-key keypad provides useful information to the operator like time and battery status and enables interaction with the host. The high capacity Lithium-Ion battery can be replaced in few seconds and charged on the cradle as well on a separate multi-battery charger.

The PM8500 readers feature Datalogic’s exclusive 3GL™ (3 Green Lights) for superior good read feedback. The patented ‘Green Spot’ directly on the code and dual Good Read LEDs on the top and back of the cap adds increased visibility at any angle.

The PM8500 reader’s mechanics have been developed and tested to withstand extreme environmental conditions maintaining consistent reading capability without degrading performance or reliability. Its ergonomic enclosure is lightweight and well balanced to ensure optimal operator comfort during scan intensive operations. A built-in metal tether hook for suspended applications ensures workplace productivity.

Capture with a high performance laser scanner with Green Spot, an auto ranging laser (XLR) scanner, or a 2D imager with Green Spot combined with a 3 Mega pixel color camera. Communicate over a Summit 802.11 a/b/g radio with CCX v4 certification for security and seamless roaming or through wired standards including USB, RS232, modem and Ethernet. Parallel computer architecture combines a PXA 310 and Cortex-M3 processors with a base memory package of 256 MB RAM / 256 MB Flash and choice of Microsoft Windows operating systems: Windows Mobile or CE.

Designed with people in mind, the Gryphon™ GD4400 imager blends advanced 2D reading with motion sensing technology, producing a user-friendly device with outstanding performance.

Perfect for both handheld and presentation reading, the Gryphon GD4400 imager features Datalogic’s Motionix™ motion-sensing technology which detects the natural actions of the operator to automatically switch the scanner into the desired scanning mode. This technology works with or without the use of a stand, offering more operational choices. Both the aimer and sensor can be programmed to the user’s desired preferences.

User comfort is maximized with the Gryphon GD4400 imager’s steady, deep red illumination light. Easier on the eyes than competitive products with flicker illumination, the highly visible 4-Dot aimer defines a precise reading zone and reduces accidental reads. The aimer’s center cross provides a locator for targeted scanning in a multiple bar code environment.

The Gryphon GD4400 imager provides snappy reading performance on all common 1D and 2D codes as well as postal, stacked and composite codes like PDF417. High Density (HD) models are also available for reading smaller, condensed codes. For mobile marketing or ticketing applications, this imager also offers excellent performance when reading bar codes from mobile devices.

The Gryphon I GD4400 2D omnidirectional reader eliminates the need for separate equipment with signature capture and document scanning capabilities. Its enhanced optics offer improved motion tolerance and high speed imaging to read fast moving codes.

With rich feature sets, the Gryphon™ product series from Datalogic ADC represents the premium level of data collection equipment for general purpose applications. The Gryphon GBT4400 2D scanner blends advanced reading technology with the ability to detect the natural actions of the operator to produce user-friendly features and outstanding performance.

The Gryphon GBT4400 2D reader is designed with Datalogic’s Motionix™ motion-sensing technology, which enables the scanner to intuitively switch into handheld mode when the device is picked up. When placed back into the stand, it seamlessly returns to stand mode, eliminating the need to scan a code or to rely on a mechanical switch to make this change. The two-position base station provides the flexibility to use the scanner in presentation or stand mode while it’s charging. The scanner also features Datalogic’s patented ‘Green Spot’ for additional good read confirmation by placing a green spot directly on the code.

The scanner reads common codes including 1D, 2D and Postal codes plus stacked and composite codes like PDF417 and GS1 DataBar™. It also offers excellent performance when reading bar codes from cell phones or mobile devices for mobile marketing or ticketing applications. High Density (HD) models are available for reading smaller, condensed codes.
